COVID & Camp Ara
Because We Know As Parents, You Worry.
We know COVID can make going places a little scary these days. We take that seriously here. We sanitize multiple times a day in accordance with CDC guidelines and recommendations. Guests and staff wear masks at all times indoors and anytime they are near others outdoors. We require COVID questionnaires and temp checks be done by everyone coming to the campus, no exceptions.
We have 3 separate bunkrooms in our main lodge that each sleep 12-14 people. All bunks are 6 feet apart, but we also try to keep nuclear families or people already in the same groups in bunk rooms together. For instance, if we are running a family camp, we host 3 families, one in each bunkroom, and 2 families each in their own cabin.
We are doing everything we can to mitigate the COVID risk while still providing a place for families, small groups, and individuals to escape and explore nature, grow with others, and to be inspired in a Christian environment.

Summer Camp Programs
Summer Camp is coming! We will be running several weeks of traditional summer camp in early summer, 2 weeks of non-overnight day camp, and several more weeks of groups only private summer camp weeks. We have something for everyone coming this summer!
Spring Camp Programs
Spring is here and we could not be more excited!! Who doesn't love spending time outside in the spring? We do! Spring is prime retreat season for nature lovers, outdoorsmen, or anyone looking for outdoor activities for the family.

Explore Jr.
A day of fun and learning for children 5-12 years old. Different topics each week keeps it fresh and exciting for our campers. Explore Jr is a great way to escape the classroom!
We hold exciting classes for them Tues-Thurs from 10-2 twice a month. Class topics include seasonal things like sled hatting, icy experiments, junior entomology, caring for chickens, and many many more!
Explore
We have programs for teens and adults as well! Our Explore program is host to many different events like teen hang nights, cooking with your spouse, star gazing, and many more!
Littlest Explorers
Sometimes parents with toddlers just need a place to take their llittles and let them run, explore, and be free! Camp Ara is hosting 2 days this Spring for parents to bring out their littlest explores to Camp Ara and do just that!
